The OR Scheduler is responsible for:

• managing and processing of the Operating Room Postings and Schedule
• posting procedures
• assigns PAT appt/phone calls
• notifies appropriate departments/ sales representatives, and patients
• scheduling procedures with patients and providing appropriate instructions
• ensuring that OR/Endoscopy suite receives consents and orders
• ensuring procedure notes are received and scanned
• may perform other administrative/clerical duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service, communication
• Computer Proficiency required
  • Preferred intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Minimum of one year receptionist/scheduling experience
• Medical Office experience preferred
  • will consider CMA/LPN
• Experience with office equipment preferred (multi-line phone, computer, fax, scanner, etc.)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology
