Position description
The Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a board-certified optometrist to join our established academic practice, preference given to candidates with 5+ years of experience. The position involves clinical care of patients including comprehensive eye care in collaboration with physicians and technicians. Specific interests in the medical management of glaucoma, ocular disease, and perioperative care is preferred. The department has ten members including two neuro-ophthalmologists, two optometrists and six ophthalmologists who cover all sub-specialty areas of ophthalmology.
License or certification
Candidates should be residency trained, licensed in the state of Florida and willing to participate in the department’s academic activities.
