Private Eyes Optometry is a woman-owned small business that takes the time to listen to our patients' needs, understand their lifestyle, and provide them with high quality eyecare services and products. Our team includes opticians and optometric staff who have been with us for more than ten years, and alumni from our office have gone on to optometry school, veterinary school, and nursing careers with the health care experience from our office. We are looking to hire a part-time Eyecare Assistant to join our team, and gain training and experience in optical dispensing, medical testing, and front office. Ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys working with people and making a difference in their lives, and who takes pride in their work.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Greeting and checking in patients
  • Verifying insurance
  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Perform preliminary vision tests
  • Some contact lens training and optical dispensing

Eye care experience is a plus, but not necessary. Will train the right candidate with people skills. Please include resume and a cover letter answering the following:
