We are looking for an Optician to join our company. The Optician will be responsible for performing various tasks which may include selecting, ordering and dispensing contact lenses and eyeglasses. This position would be full-time, and the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who enjoys working with the public as well willingness to cross-train in other office duties. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Replace and clean lenses.
- Help customers choose eyeglasses.
- Advise customers how to care for their vision problems and tell them where they can get help if they need it.
- Discuss a vision problem with a doctor or other professionals.
- Design and make some types of lenses.
- Answer phones as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,576.00 - $40,581.00 per year
