OPS- Farm Operations Job at University of Florida
With equipment/tractor, apply fertilizer, plant, cultivate, and harvest field areas and grass areas.
Assist in field water control and facilities maintenance.
Operate and maintain variety of equipment, such as tractors, irrigation equipment.
Operate University of Florida vehicles.
Lubricate and clean vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, shop areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment.
- Monday-Friday, daily 8 am to 5 pm. Occasional Saturday hours may be required. Work hours may be seasonally adjusted as needed.
$17.00 hourly
Must have a Florida valid driver’s license.
High School Diploma
Farm experience, including heavy equipment operation
Obtain pesticide license within 3 months of employment
Basic computer Knowledge
