YOUR ROLE

Directs daily business activity and provides leadership for assigned personnel. Responsible for communicating with Resource Freight Planning, Inventory Management, Quality, Sales and branch management to resolve any production issues. Accountable for assigned areas to ensure we meet or exceed all customer SLA’s as well as Operating plan performance metrics. This is a second shift opportunity.

• Check End of Shift Report
• Print Schedule
• Verify Open Jobs / Verify Job Fully Picked
• Assign Workstations
• Order Product
• Check Attendance
• Set up Productivity Monitors
• Review Quality Defects / Create Root Cause Analysis
• Review / Resolve Any Red Coned Containers
• Daily Stand - Up Meeting with the Supervisor
• Communicate Issues / Volumes / Safety / Productivity to Supervisors
• Answer Any Escalated Questions / Concerns
• Confirm Usage of PPE
• Monitor Productivity
• Perform 30 Minute Cross Training / Coaching Session
• Daily Team Meeting
• Foster a Team Spirit with Employees and Peers
• Complete and Turn in Punch Adjustment / PTO Forms
• Perform Walk-Through for Aisle Clean-ups and Maintenance
• Complete Excess Clean-up Spreadsheet
• Email Team Lead Changeover Communication
• 5S Walk
• Downtime Log
• End of Shift Report

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• High School Diploma or equivalent and/ or minimum 1+ years in a fast paced, high volume production environment preferred
• Experience in a lead role where you trained, monitored, and reviewed individual's work is highly desired.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), interpersonal & conflict resolution skills, basic math skills.
• Knowledge of RF gun and functions associated with WMS
• Pre-employment drug screen required
