Position Summary

The University of New Mexico’s Project ECHO has an amazing opportunity for an Operations Specialist to join our Superhubs Support Team. This individual will play an integral role in the Superhubs Support Team’s efforts to train, strengthen, and mentor global partner organizations across key strategic focus areas.

The ECHO Institute spearheads the global expansion of Project ECHO by training and supporting partner organizations who replicate the ECHO model. A Superhub is an experienced ECHO partner that is authorized to provide training and technical assistance to new hubs and support them as they grow their ECHO programs.

Please note: this position is eligible for teleworking on a hybrid basis.

As a successful Operations Specialist, you will play an active role in working directly with ECHO’s Superhubs Partner Support Manager and other members of the Superhubs Support Team to:

  • Provide customer support to Superhubs, including trouble-shooting issues that arise in a timely manner and drafting, editing and disseminating Superhub partner communications
  • Serve as a liaison between current and future Superhub partners, the ECHO Institute and the broader MetaECHO community
  • Provide administrative support for the Superhubs Support Team, including recording of meeting minutes and coordination of meetings and events for internal/external teams
  • Compile and maintain status reports on Superhub activities and perform continuous quality improvement of resources provided to Superhubs
  • Gather quality Superhub data for the ECHO movement, ensuring it meets organizational and quality standards as required for reporting
  • Train Superhub partners on using the ECHO tools used to capture data,run programs, and support their partners
  • Participate in strategic planning for Superhubs
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive support of Superhub partners
  • Coordinate with the Superhubs Support Team to identify areas for growth and improvement to ensure optimal operating efficiency

Conditions of Employment

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce or another CRM
  • Extensive experience in customer service/partner relations with global stakeholders
  • Extensive experience building surveys and forms in Smartsheet, Redcap or similar programs
  • A demonstrated ability to coordinate events from concept to post-execution follow up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese would be an asset
