SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW

Plan, lead, organize and control the manufacturing processes that create a supply of the company products for delivery to customers. Directly oversees the manufacturing processes and coordinates with other related departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Supervises the activities of and ensures the productivity of the applicable programs.
  • Work with customers, suppliers and employees on all plant issues.
  • Identification and maintaining of program measurables.
  • Trains and develops employees.
  • Ensures a safe working environment is enforced and polices are administrated.
  • Leads efforts to continuously control costs.
  • Improves efficiency and increases productivity.
  • Coordinates with leaders from other departments and interacts with management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Description)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or job-related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of management experience
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Leadership ability to make and implement good decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and coordination skills
  • Ability to speak persuasively and listen effectively
  • Ability to proficiently operate a computer, specifically Microsoft Office suite
