We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage all aspects of the property and achieve the financial potential of the brand portfolio while executing top tier customer service. This person should share our passion for great food and hospitality and possess the drive to lead a team through service in a fast, high-pressure environment. This position reports directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the operation before, during and after service hours
  • Attain the financial objectives of the business through effective management of people, product, service, and facility processes, including a focus on the revenue and profit components
  • Perform forecasting and budgeting for all controllable costs
  • Manage and maintain F&B budgets to ensure appropriate profitability is maximized
  • Interpret monthly P&Ls and make appropriate financial decisions and adjustments as needed
  • Manage property grounds and coordinate resolve of structural issues
  • Maintain good relations with the community and local authorities
  • Oversee capital improvements and renovations
  • Build and manage a team of FOH and BOH team members
  • Mentor, train and develop team members; responsible for tracking punctuality, adherence to grooming and established protocols and job performance
  • Implement, oversee, and maintain all company policies and procedures
  • Work with the F&B Managers and chefs concerning food and beverage quality, service, cleanliness, merchandising and promotions
  • Assist other managers with ordering, inventory, reconciling sales and deposits at the end of service, menu changes and updates, conducting staff trainings and meetings and other tasks as necessary
  • Manage front and back of house POS system
  • Build and participate in training activities to ensure staff continuously improves performance
  • Maintain standards according to DOH, fire safety, and employment regulations
  • Maintain the mood of the operation and always promote positive public and employee relations
  • Approve all policies and procedures developed by the respective managers for the operation of the food and beverage outlets as well as the boutique
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by the Managing Director<

Requirements:

  • 5+ years full-time experience as General Manager or Director in a recognized Food and Beverage group or stand-alone operation
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • Possess strongly developed and proven leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in all aspects of dining service
  • Knowledge of food and beverage with a passion to further develop this skill
  • Experience working with POS systems and F&B ordering, inventory, and cost control systems
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and ability to interpret and apply new information
  • Ability to work standing for an extended length of time
  • Well-versed in SOPs of major restaurant organizations and demonstrates expertise in coordinating resources in HR, training, coaching and operations
  • Well organized, computer literate, detail-oriented, and able to delegate responsibility as needed
  • Self-motivated, dedicated team player with a positive attitude and high level of integrity
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills required
  • Flexible Availability, open to work AM & PM schedules and weekends

Compensation:
