YOUR ROLE AS AN OPERATIONS MANAGER

As an Operations Manager, you play a crucial role in our business. Your function is to ensure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly, including our dispatches, part orders, and shipping. You also improve our processes by seeking out technology solutions, negotiating prices, and implementing the software that you determine will optimize our work. A forward-thinker, you search for opportunities to expand your knowledge of the locksmith industry and widen our reach in the trade.

Within the office, you organize the needs and schedules of our personnel, perform training, hire new employees, and onboard them so that they are quickly up to speed. You also facilitate good communication between our team by ensuring that phone calls, emails, documentation, and meetings are detailed and clear. In addition, you work closely with our technicians to make sure their vehicles are well maintained, stocked with the inventory they need, and fully tracked by live GPS.

Our customers are another of your primary concerns. You oversee our quality assurance to ensure that our clients are being served in an efficient and timely manner. Analytically minded, you develop practices that streamline our field operations and our inventory control. Trade shows are also in your purview, so you coordinate the scheduling, product transport, and sales tax for shows in various states. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OPERATIONS MANAGER
