Patriot Group International Inc. has a current full-time, non-exempt employment opportunity for an Operations/Human Resources Administrator in Columbia, Maryland. This position will report to the Data Center Cluster Manager/Director of Human Resources.

Job Description:

The Operations Administrator works directly with the Data Center Cluster Manager and STRATUS management team to support staffing, invoicing, travel, property management, and other administrative tasks associated with operations management support. The Operations/Human Resources Generalist will assist the recruitment process, onboarding, daily operations, scheduling, staffing, ensuring personnel are current on training requirements, insurance benefit assistance, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Human Resources duties:

  • Assists with the recruitment and on-boarding process to include; scheduling interviews, assisting with interviews, extending offers, conducting background, drug checks, professional reference checks, and onboarding employees
  • Ensures ISO 9001 compliance with Human Resource/Recruiting functions
  • Works with the Director of Human Resources with maintaining required local, federal, and departmental records, postings, and reporting such as I-9/E-Verify
  • Assists with onboarding and annual training of all employees
  • Maintains and updates documents to include employee communications, training, and other employee information on company server and HR files
  • Assists DHR with insurance benefit communication and assistance
  • Identifies recruiting events in the area and attends career fairs
  • Assists DHR with ordering supplies and running occasional errands
  • Other duties as assigned by the DHR

Operational duties:

  • Ensures timely processing of all staff payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles
  • Will be responsible for sending and collecting packets to new hires and ensuring information is received and complete
  • Assist with scheduling of staff and coordinating schedules in Celayix
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as running errands and logistical requirements
  • Monitor certifications and certification expiration dates
  • Communicates with Human Resources on scheduling and mission requirements
  • Communicates with Accounting Department for submission of timesheets and reports
  • Compare timesheets with client reports
  • Review contract documentation and update project information
  • Manage internal database systems to include property management system
  • Generate monthly project operational reports for assigned projects
  • Review project invoices for accuracy in conjunction with the Data Center Cluster Manager
  • Compare timesheets with client reports
  • Other duties as assigned by the Data Center Cluster Manager

Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Operations, Human Resources, or Recruiting experience
  • Must have experience with full life cycle recruiting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Expert knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft programs
  • High level of confidentiality, discretion, and ability to protect PGI proprietary and personnel information
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to balance conflicting points of view, function effectively under pressure and demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to read, write, understand the English language, apply written rules, instructions, and other materials
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance
  • US Military experience is not required but a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to get to work and run operational errands each day


Physical Requirements
:

  • Able to lift to 20 pounds
  • Able to walk to the job site to meet with employees
  • And able to use standard office equipment to include; computer and copier


Hours of Operation:
Must be able to work weekdays during normal business hours

Job Site Location: Columbia, Maryland and occasional administrative tasks including errands in the DC/MD/VA metro area in order to meet mission deadlines and requirements
