Perry Ellis International is looking for an individual who is energetic, self-motivated, and has an eagerness to learn in conjunction with assisting the Operations team. The Ops Coordinator/ Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for providing support to Retail Stores with a focus on Inventory Control. Retail Operations background a plus, but not required. Training on systems will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • SIM- Knowledgeable on system, able to navigate thoroughly
  • Run inventory reports in BOXI and scrutinize in order to identify trouble stores
  • Communicate with trouble stores weekly to ensure inventory is processed accurately
  • Partner with DMs to ensure MOS items, shipment, and any inventory issues are addressed.
  • Responsible for training and coordination of RFID roll out with stores, MIS, and Accounting.
  • Follow up with stores to ensure weekly RFID cycle counts are conducted.
  • Act as a liaison between stores and the corporate office.
  • Provide support to the Ops team as needed, especially in spur of the moment projects.
  • Ability to multitask and complete necessary duties in a timely manner.
  • Participate in SOP meetings and provide updates as needed
  • Assist and coordinate with outside maintenance vendors on store related issues
  • Assist in new store openings and store closings
  • Coordinate with store operations and visual merchandising
  • Maintain directories, enter vendor POs as necessary, and help with any day to day tasks



SKILLS:

  • Demonstrates a high level of flexibility during periods of organizational change.
  • Ability to multitask and complete necessary duties in a timely manner.
  • Ability to learn new programs/systems quickly
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and with others outside of the department
  • Knowledge of Google Apps a plus

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Retail experience is a plus!
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Able to travel to local stores when needed
