We’re hiring our first Sales Operations Specialist to begin scaling our B2B operations. We are looking for an experienced individual that can help build and monetize a sales pipeline for Pocket Prep and its study products, working independently to prove out strategy and increase revenue. About the Role

The Sales Operations Specialist at Pocket Prep is a strategic thinker who develops, plans and implements targeted go-to-market campaigns to build brand awareness, generate and nurture leads, and transact deals. This role involves directly interacting with potential customers to demonstrate the value of our Dashboard product and close deals.

This specialist understands the diversity and nuance of our customer base, recognizing that strategies that resonate with one audience may not be as effective with another. They develop, manage, and optimize sales pipelines with scalability in mind, using CRM systems, customer information repositories such as GovSpend, and marketing automation tools like HubSpot to create and deploy impactful outbound campaigns.

Furthermore, the Sales Operations Specialist collaborates with our Business Development Lead on large account prospects. Their goal is to ensure a seamless customer journey from initial contact through to purchase and customer success handoff.

What You Will Do:

  • Designing and scaling sales operations
  • Building new sales pipelines
  • Managing sales automation tools
  • Managing CRM data
  • Researching and prioritizing sales leads
  • Qualifying opportunities
  • Performing sales forecasting
  • Working with sales & marketing leadership to develop goals
  • Working with marketing to generate inbound
  • Interface with potential customers and close deals

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has the following experience:

  • 5-7 years of work experience in demand gen, marketing automation, or sales
  • Experience with CRM and outbound/automation tools, HubSpot or GovSpend expertise a BIG plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and active listening skills
  • Utilizes an ethical, data-driven, and humanistic approach to decision-making and negotiation
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence
