We are currently hiring a People Operations Analyst in Boston, MA (Hybrid) .

The People Operations Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of BBC’s HRIS Oracle Fusion, which includes modules for Core Data, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Performance, Learn, Goal, Career Development, Recruiting & Onboarding. In addition to other systems supported by the People Operations team.

This position serves as an operational and technical point of contact as the system SME/Liaison. Answering questions via the People Operations Mailbox and internal customers they assist with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Supports and troubleshooting system issues, HRIS upgrades, patches, testing. May be responsible for other technical projects as assigned with assistance from the Sr/Lead Analyst and/or Manager.

What You'll Brew :

  • HRIS Ownership
    • Manage Day to Day HRIS transactions (Including – New Hire Entry, Promotions, Positions)
    • Key point-of-contact to support HRIS maintenance, includes timely research and resolution to HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements; opening and managing service requests directly with Oracle or escalating and managing tickets with our third-party service HRIS provider
    • Support the testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades and/or patches
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to coordinate application break fix
    • Monitor interfaces from HRIS are performed in a timely, accurate and complete manner
    • Facilitate HRIS module of New Hire Orientation
    • Participate in continuous improvement of policies and processes that require People Operations execution
    • Troubleshooting production issues and thinking critically in pressure situations
  • Reporting, Analytics & Maintenance
    • Assist and learn to develop, maintain and support a variety of reports using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing SME Business needs
    • Maintain data integrity in all systems by running queries and analyzing data
    • Provide monthly or ongoing/on-demand reporting to the HR /business teams and ad hoc reporting as requested by HR and/or the business
    • Annual government reporting - deliver on data requirements associated including - EEO, VETS and AAP
  • Audit & Compliance
    • Follow-through on established audit protocols and ensure that ongoing audits of HR data in HRIS Systems occur on defined cadence.
    • Troubleshooting root causes of audit issues identified and resolved to ensure issue does not occur again in future
    • Audit entries made into Oracle HCM against ADP payroll registers, serving as an internal control to ensure data entered is accurate and timely
    • Support the annual internal/external audit process by providing reporting and supporting documentation as requested
    • Comply with all Data Privacy Laws
  • Customer Service & General Administration
    • Manage unemployment claims and employee verification process
    • Customer-service focused with timely responses to customer inquiries
    • Timely response to internal requests made by the business
    • Demonstrate Excellent communication skills and effectively liaison between Business SME’s and technical team (including 3rd parties)
    • Manage the help-desk ticketing process related to People Operations
  • Teamwork
    • Building and maintaining relationships within HR and to core HR customers (Payroll, Accounting, IT, etc.)
    • Continually seek ways to extract more value from the system through user groups, tech conferences, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • 1+ years of HR administration/operational experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong experience with and affinity for data integrity and HR systems
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving competencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people/groups, internally and externally

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Oracle’s HCM Fusion Cloud Suite/Oracle Recruiting Cloud/Learn
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud extracts
