Yoh Health Care has a need for an Occupational health Registered Nurse need in Jacksonville, FL to cover for our client on a per diem basis.

Hours: 8am-5 pm

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in an Occupational Health, any ICU/ER experience, Urgent Care experience, anyone good with assessment

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide initial assessment, direct care, treatment and follow up of work-related health events using established protocols and procedures.
• Perform health screenings and health assessments and provide health-related counseling.
• Offer Health Coaching.
• Ensure the confidentiality of health information.
• Conduct workplace assessments and exposure follow up.
• Plan and implement health promotion strategies for both group and individual health education.
• Serve as a liaison to area physicians and hospitals.
• Make referrals to the employee assistance programs.
• Maintain OSHA compliance
• Maintaining all treatment areas clean and well stocked (up to par).
• Quality controls of all testing equipment used in accordance with the Dept. of Health regulations.
• Completion of an emergency form in a timely manner and forwarded to the appropriate personnel. (Copy of Omni note can be attached to form and used as a completed form).
• Compliance with follow ups to all clients treated with a prescription medication, excused from work, sent out by ambulance to ER, HCP or clinic referral.
• Liaison with private MDs, hospitals and health organizations to provide continuity of care.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of FL
• BLS certified
• Urgent care or ambulatory clinic. Occupational Health-PLUS
• Ability to make independent nursing judgments.
• Venipucture and EKG skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly orally, verbally and in written form.
• Computer proficient
