Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.04 per hour

(DOE and additional compensation for approved county threshold languages)

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Office Services Manager, the Office Support Staff is responsible for providing office support services to the assigned VCSS or VTC site(s).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintains complete and accurate data entry within established timelines.
  • Provides effective phone coverage utilizing a multi-line phone system efficiently.
  • Maintains an effective filing system.
  • Provides office support utilizing general office equipment.
  • Monitors and maintains office supplies.
  • Assists with administrative functions of intakes, completing paperwork, and assisting with client files.
  • Utilizes computer software (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) to assist the program in its operations.
  • Completes other assigned program operational tasks in accordance with supervisory directives.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides on-site technical support to all staff
  • Provides general HR support as assigned
  • Processes Payroll for program
  • Processes Billing for program as assigned
  • Manages Psychiatric department needs
  • Completes other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year office experience or completion of one year of business training at high school or college level, including paid or unpaid on-the-job training.

POSITION/PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess a valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance and driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency’s Personnel Policy: Motor Vehicle Operating Standards.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit in accordance with the Agency’s Personnel Policy: Physical Fitness Standards and Examinations. Must be willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) test, drug screening test and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination(s).
  • Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California.
  • Must be varying schedule according to operational need.
  • Must be willing to work within a culturally integrated workplace and be willing to respect human differences based upon protected classes as defined by state, federal and local laws, or any other condition that distinguishes people from one another.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Have an adequate range of body motion and mobility to work in a residential, office or outdoor environment including standing and walking (even and uneven surfaces), alternating between standing and sitting for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching balancing and occasional carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Physically able to walk up and down stairs routinely.
  • Requires the ability to utilize computer and telephone systems, which includes the coordination of eye and hand and fine manipulation by the hands and fingers for typing, writing and working with files.
