Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update resident, responsible party, and employee addresses and telephone lists.
  • Performs other business office duties as directed by the Administrator.
  • Assists Social Service designee with medical records.
  • Types and photo copies selective menus.
  • Figure ancillary charges.
  • Maintains office.

PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE, AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day. Ability to remain calm under stress.
  • Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel and support agencies.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, tact, courtesy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents within the facility.
  • Ability to read and write in English. Must be able to lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
