Position Title
Office Manager and ID Coordinator

Job Responsibilities
The Office Manager and ID Coordinator reports to the Director of Residence Life and is a full-time 12-month position. Specific responsibilities include assist with coordinating the flow of information between the Director, Assistant Director, Coordinator for Residence Life, Hall Directors, and student staff; and coordinating contact with students, their families, and other Truman State departments. The Office Manager and ID Coordinator oversees the central residence life desk, including supervision of a student office manager and student desk workers. The central residence life desk is the focal point for answering questions regarding housing and residence life.
Additionally, the Office Manager and ID Coordinator is primarily responsible for operation of the University ID Card Printer System and the Perimeter ID Card Access System. The ID Office employs a team of student staff to manage daily ID card creation needs. This team of students is supervised by the Office Manager and ID Coordinator.
As the primary purchasing agent for residence life, the Office Manager and ID Coordinator is responsible for administrating purchasing operations. This person is responsible for coordinating with the university business office to ensure that all residence life personnel are supported in their purchasing needs. This person must be able to manage purchasing through various vendors in ways that align with university purchasing policies and procedures. Occasional trips to Kirksville retailers is necessary.
The Office Manager and ID Coordinator offers a best practice approach to customer service that is responsive to the needs of various constituencies utilizing the services of the Residence Life and the ID Office.

Required Qualifications
Required qualifications include an associate’s degree OR a high school diploma and 2 years of relevant work experience. Candidates must have: experience in an administrative or technical role; experience with Microsoft Office or Google Documents; an affinity for working with technology; and an ability to work with diverse populations and personalities.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree, leadership experience, experience working with an Information Technology System (ITS), and experience working with budgets or managing funds.

Salary
