The USC Alumni Association is seeking an Office Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operation of one of its office locations located in the heart of University Park Campus. The incumbent will report to the Associate Director of Member Services and work closely with the Member Services Specialist. The incumbent will be the first point of contact for all visitors and will serve as the face of the USC Alumni Association.


This is a multifaceted position which requires a blend of strong administrative and public relations skills. Duties will include:


  • Answering phones and customer service requests

  • Greeting and answering guests’ questions pertaining to the Alumni Association,

  • coordinating visitor needs

  • Managing meeting room reservations and spaces and coordinating general office maintenance

  • Ordering all general and office supplies

  • Assisting with the execution of various events and ad-hoc projects

This position requires a solid working knowledge of the various departments and schools affiliated with USC to direct callers and guests to the appropriate person or department.

The Office Coordinator must be a quick learner who is extremely detail oriented with a professional demeanor. Incumbent must equally enjoy working with the public while performing a variety of administrative-related duties. Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills are required.

The hourly rate range for this position is $22.01 - $26.31. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
