Job Summary


**This job posting will be used to fill up to 2 vacancies.

This position is responsible for entering banking information for direct deposit into both the MSRS database and the Record Keeper database for participants across all plans that MSRS administers. This position enters beneficiary information and demographic change information into both the Aurora database and the Record Keeper databases. Additionally, this position provides typing and other related clerical services to all MSRS staff and divisions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • English language skills sufficient to be able to speak, read, write, understand, and respond to written and spoken communications.

  • Data entry database management skills sufficient to accurately enter data, maintain database, and effectively retrieve information from multiple databases.

  • Typing/keyboarding skills sufficient to be able to accurately type correspondence in a timely fashion (55 WPM)

  • Ability to check completed work for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format.

  • Ability to use customer service skills to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate information to customers in person or on the phone.

  • Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Aurora, Record Keeper database systems or similar database systems.

  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential material with discretion.

  • Experience working with tax withholding and beneficiary laws.
