Nursing Director - ICU/Telemetry Job at Memorial Hospital of Gardena

The Nursing Director will have 24-hour responsibility for clinical and administrative management of nursing services for their area of responsibility.
- Reports to Chief Nursing Officer
- Participates in establishment and implementation of Hospital and Nursing objectives and policies and procedures.
- Responsible for Human Resource Management, education and development of staff as well as Performance Improvement, regulatory compliance and budgeting.
- Supervises all employees within the area of responsibility.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred, Master’s degree preferred
· Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in clinical area
· Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in area of specialty
Licensure/Certifications:
· Current RN licensed in good standing by the California State Board of Nursing
· Current BLS for Health Care Provider card
· Area Specific certification preferred (e.g. NALS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, AB 508)
