Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Memory Care - Abilene, Texas

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team.

You will help residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, and assist with medication management. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living
• Assist with medication management under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition to the nurse or supervisor
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living spaces
• Encourage and engage residents in activities that promote physical, social, and emotional well-being
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Texas
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's disease or other memory impairments preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and diplomacy
• Physical ability to lift and transfer residents as needed
