The Grand Healthcare at Colonial Park Rome NY is looking for candidates for our May/June CNA Class. Our program is a paid program that will give you the skills your need to be a successful Certified Nursing Assistant while you are currently working here as a RA and we will offer you a position as soon as the course is completed.
Classes are starting soon- Looking to begin end of May and SPOTS will be filling up fast- must be employed with us as a Resident Aide and in good standing

CNA Duties Include:
- Monitoring Residents.
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
- Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene.
- Prepping of meal trays and reporting food / fluid intake.
- Feeding Residents & distributing nutritional supplements.
- Making beds & maintaining the Residents’ space to be clean and tidy.
- Transporting Residents within the Facility.
- Turning bed ridden residents to prevent bedsores
- Keeping Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
Requirements:
- Must be in good standing with State Registry
- Must be able to work as a team player
- Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health
