POSITION SUMMARYEngages in patient care in the Clinic and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. Conducts clinic office visits and / or telephone visits to assess and respond to the patient’s condition. Works under the oversight of a supervisory physician.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Licenses and Certifications Required

Current ND Board Nurse Practitioner License, required.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.

ACLS certification, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.

Educational Requirements

Education as needed to obtain and keep current ND Nurse Practitioner license.

Experience Requirements
-
Extensive knowledge of established medical principals and practices consistent with a Nurse Practitioner scope of care, required.

Experience in cardiology, preferred.

CPT coding knowledge, preferred.
