The Staff Development Coordinator plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates all activities necessary for an effective staff development program. The scope of responsibility has a primary emphasis on the Nursing Department but additional responsibilities to all other departments in terms of general orientation and corporate wide mandatory in-services. These functions will be accomplished by the use of standards and protocols established by Bethesda Health Group through the use of clinical and organizational skills.

Job Qualifications:
- Education/Training/Experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- BSN or related baccalaureate preparation in education preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent clinical nursing experience required.
- Educational and supervisory/management experience preferred.
- Previous experience in long-term care required.
- Licensing/Registration/Certification:
- Current registered nursing (RN) license in Missouri.
- CPR/AED certification required.
- Certified as a CPR instructor highly desirable.
- Certified as an Instructor for the Missouri Nurse Assistant Training program and CMT instructor certification preferred.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards.
- Possesses integrity, initiative and loyalty.
- Must possess good communication skills and demonstrates ability to teach adults.
