We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to float between office locations in Pasadena, Arcadia, and Covina. Summary of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position:

• Location: Float between Pasadena, Arcadia, and Covina
• Salary: Starting at $49-$53/hr. (depending on experience)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will:

• Administer radioactive drugs to patients for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes
• Prepare and measure doses of radioactive materials for patient administration
• Operate medical imaging equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as SPECT, PET, or scintillation scans
• Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure their comfort and understanding
• Review and interpret images to determine quality and accuracy
• Maintain records of exams performed and drugs administered to patients
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of imaging equipment
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and regulations to protect patients and healthcare workers from exposure to radioactive materials

The ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist will have:

• Current certification from the ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• Experience in Nuclear Cardiology, preferably with ADAC/Philips Cardio MD Camera and JetStream workstation
