Position Summary
CIRA (Center for Imaging and Research of America) seeks a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our center in Sarasota, Florida. The center will provide state-of-the-art cardiac PET/CT imaging capabilities.
Essential Functions
- Performs quality control for Nuclear Medicine instrumentation as outlined by manufacturer guidelines.
- Assists in planning cardiac stress testing in coordination with cardiac tech and physician in cardiac PET/CT scanning.
- Performs Cardiac PET/CT Scanning and post-processing.
- Coordinate with radio-pharmacy delivery of and administration of radiopharmaceutical.
- Maintains records as outlined by the Florida Department of Health, Radiation Control.
- Performs all safety checks as outlined by the Florida Department of Health, Radiation Control.
- Participates in the corporate ALARA Radiation Safety Program.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with CIRA policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Education/Training
Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology and maintains current Florida State License. Diagnostic CT certification a plus.

Pay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour
