Job Description
Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating and performing Computerized Tomography (CT) scans for diagnostic purposes and for providing patient services using applicable imaging modalities.
Requirements:
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiological Sciences or other accepted and approved equivalent required
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Annual education in radiation dose management for adults and pediatric populations is required
- Minimum of one (1) year of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting preferred
- Three (3) years’ CT experience in a clinical Imaging setting is highly preferred
- LSRTBE License (temporary or permanent).
- ARRT upon hire for experienced technologists.
- ARRT within 90 days for new graduates.
- Certifcation in other specialties is preferred by not required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support or completion within 90 days of employment.
