Salary Range: $15/hr.

Hours are Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. beginning July 2023.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Noon Aide/Recess Monitor will be needed for the 2023-24 school year. As a Noon Aide/Recess Monitor, you are expected to work outside, and be responsible for proper supervision at recess. You will also:

· Report any difficulties or unusual problems to the teachers and other school personnel

· You must be able physically capable of prolonged standing, walking and stooping

· May direct students in gathering materials, games, balls, or other items to be used during the activities

· Be able to give special attention to safety factors when weather or other circumstances occur

· Immediately report any injury or unusual problems to the professional staff

· Convey positive communication/interactions with the scholars

· Restricting students from inappropriate behavior

· Dismiss classes in an orderly manner at the scheduled times

· Checking the playground daily, and appropriately addressing ground and equipment hazards

· Responding appropriately to emergencies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Diploma

· Experience with young children

· Fingerprint Clearance Card
