We need a driver who lives in or within 10 - 40 miles of LEWISTON, IDAHO to transport our local clients to and from their medical appointments.

This is a full-time, entry level position. For entry level drivers, we provide all training and transportation equipment.

Our drivers work from home - we supply the company vehicle and the gas!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

CLEAN DRIVING RECORD or at least no more than 1 moving violation in last 5 years

AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE, with a valid driver's license.

Able to pass county, state, nationwide criminal background check

Able to pass a 10-panel drug test and alcohol breathalyzer test at hire and annually.

Strong customer service skills, with at least 6-months of customer service experience.

• Transportation Solutions, is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation provider, corporately located in Walla Walla, WA. We have been in business for over 20 years. We are a small, family-owned business that prides ourselves on providing quality, reliable transportation to clients – getting them to and from their medical appointments. We have fantastic drivers who cater to medical clients all over Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

ABILITIES AND SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Possesses a love for driving, able to drive long distances, an hour or more daily. (example-day trips to Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, La Grande, OR etc)

* Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours with different start and end times, Mon-Friday and able to commit to working at least 1 Saturday a month.

* 1-year of customer service experience. Friendly, able to exhibit empathy and compassion towards our clients, in a thoughtful, caring and timely manner.

* Able to work independently - manage their own schedule, breaks and lunches.

* Able to drive in inclement weather if necessary - rain, snow, sleet etc.

JOB DUTIES

* Perform a daily inspection of company vehicle

* Keep vehicle clean and take vehicles to proper shops for required maintenance - i.e. tire rotations, oil changes etc.

* Knowledgeable with Google Maps and/or other GPS navigation systems, operate Android tablet to manage rides.

* Assist wheelchair clients - pushing them up wheelchair ramp, properly loading and securing them into the van.

* Able to drive in inclement weather if necessary - rain, snow, sleet etc.

* Operate smartphone and has access to a home computer, to check company email, complete company trainings online and communicate with clients and dispatchers.

* Drive in a safe manner, utilizing defensive driving training, to take clients to their appointments on time.

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Have a great work history with a track record of being dependable with a good attendance record.

* Previously certified in Basic Adult & Child First Aid & CPR and Defensive Driving, preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
