The California Center on Teaching Careers, housed at Tulare County Office of Education, is offering the Teacher Residency for Rural Education (TRRE) Project in partnership with California State University, Bakersfield, Visalia Unified School District, Cutler Orosi Joint Unified School District and Tulare Joint Union High School District.
Qualified candidates will receive one year of clinical experience while earning their single subject credential. Must already hold a Bachelor’s Degree and meet other requirements. Scholarships and supplemental income available for those who apply and qualify.
We are seeking Math, Science, and English teacher candidates from the following counties: Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Merced, Madera, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Mateo.
Other single subjects will also be considered such as:
- Social Science/History
- Art
- Music
- Physical Education
- World Language
Requirements prior to applying:
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Provide official college transcripts
- Must be in good academic standing
- Obtain a certificate of clearance from TCOE
- Access to a technical device for online classes
