The role you’ll contribute:

Performs Electroencephalograms (EEGs), Evoked Potentials (EPs) and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) testing.


The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Conducts long-term monitoring in epilepsy and intensive/critical care units
  • Measures neurological responses to external stimuli and traces electrical pathways
  • Ability to scan, correlate, and clip studies
  • Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity
  • Explains testing procedures to patient and family using age-appropriate guidelines
Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • High School Grad or Equiv
  • American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists certification as a Registered EEG Technologist
  • BLS
