DIRECT HIRE

Connections Personnel located in Scotch Plains has a DIRECT HIRE opening for a Level II NDT Technician for a client that is a NADCAP certifiedaerospace manufacturer and nondestructive testing facility located in Union County NJ.

Hours are 7am-330pm Monday thru Friday.

If candidate has 2 certifications pay will be $20-$30 if candidate has all 4 certifications they will pay $30-$35/hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Perform non-destructive testing and examination.

- Manage equipment and materials necessary for the completion of inspection.

- Create certification reports.

- Create tech sheets.

- General shop-assistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order.

- Occasional production support.

- Some correspondence with clientele.

KNOWLEDGE:

- Knowledge of all UT/MT/PT/RT process.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

SKILLS:

- Professional communication.

- Meet deadlines for work and reports.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma, GED, or College Certification.

- Current Level III preferred, or level II certification with historical documentation in all of the following methods, UT, MT, PT, RT.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs of gear and materials, must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
