JOB TITLE: Murex Consultant
ONE PERMANENT Position offered in New York.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, supporting, and implementation of the Murex automation system for Fortune 500 clients within Capital Markets. Delivering testing packages that allow the client to run regression testing on multiple environments. Validating test cases and steps by manually running tests in murex environment. Working within Capital Markets Domain Framework to include Operational risk systems, fixed income, Forwards FX and FX Swaps, Bonds, Futures, ET Futures & Options, FRAs, and Interest Rate Derivatives. Liaising with FX traders to clarify requirements, functionality and business requirements. Presenting and organizing working group meetings to keep the project on track. Building and executing test packages using MXtest. Monitoring the system daily using MxMon so the system is running efficiently and can be alerted to prevent outages. E xecuting test packages to ensure testing requirements are met, debugging failures and raising to vendor. Utilizing Using Onyx to make improve testing efficiency. Working in an agile environment using Jira. Employing technical skills in SQL, SPLUNK, Calypso, Murex, MxTest, Jira, ServiceNow, and QTest.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or related quantitative degree
plus one year of experience in the job offered or related position in the Capital Markets Field.
The required experience in the job offered or related occupation must include at least one year of experience developing, supporting, and implementation of the Murex automation system for Fortune 500 clients within Capital Markets.
