Lotus Concepts is seeking a Multi-Unit Culinary Director to join our expanding, full service, upscale bar and restaurant group with creative menus and chef driven concepts. The Culinary Directors’ primary responsibilities are to work alongside with culinary teams across multiple locations to ensure proper recipe execution, food safety and leadership to the restaurant culinary teams.

Candidate Requirements:

· Experience with Food and Beverage sales volumes from $11-16 million a year. Prefer candidate with restaurant and culinary corporate experience looking to join a great team.

· Hands on style of leadership with a strong desire to implement change from the ground up.

· Previous experience managing multiple locations and teams within full-service operations with a minimum tenure of three years in assigned role.

· Minimum of 8+ years of recent experience in full-service food and beverage industry; preferably in a fast paced, high volume restaurant and bar.

· Knowledge of cost accounting with a minimum of 3+ years of developing budgets, financial strategy, decision making and managing profitability.

· 60-hour work week, including weekends, holidays and late-night hours required.

· Bachelor’s degree or higher; preferably in Culinary Arts, Business Administration or Hospitality.

Primary Responsibilities:

· This position is directing the day-to-day operations, hands on working side by side with the culinary teams.

· Responsible for support to multiple Chefs and all daily back-of-the-house operations in congruence with Restaurant General Managers and executive teams.

· Ensure company standards on cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen recipes, policies, and procedures.

· Ensure all restaurants maintain kitchen, cooking areas, kitchen equipment, and food storage areas clean, sanitary, and organized.

· Responsible for managing costs and working with Company Chefs and General Managers to achieve revenues and profit.

· Ensure that all elements of kitchen functionality are in place and performing at acceptable levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
