The Multi Site Planner position is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners. This position is also responsible for logistics planning and forecasting needs for products and services as well as distribution plans. In addition, this position will oversee selecting and establishing vendor relationships and obtaining the desired value as well as defining and implementing strategy and process changes that improve turnaround times for optimal procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate would be accountable for the logistics, warehousing and storage of products. Import/export roles with responsibility for the efficient and economical movement of goods (e.g., materials, products, equipment) in accordance with organizational policies and in compliance with relevant local, country and international customs laws and processes should be assigned to this job family.

This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Multifunction/General and can sit in Fajardo, Puerto Rico or in Duncan, South Carolina.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Oversee materials planning, scheduling, and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific supply to customers.

• Identify and coordinate supply recovery planning activities related to supply shortfalls.

• Partner with Commercial and Operations in support of our strategic accounts to respond to Customer demand changes while minimizing impacts on production planning and existing scheduling commitments.

• Leverage inventory in a way to optimize supply plan to reduce past dues and optimize shipments to achieve Company targets.

• Utilize various business systems, a variety of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economical completion of requirements.

• Drive activities to ensure achievement of supply alignment to achieve a high service level.

• Directly responsible for high supply attainment and reduced past dues while achieving On Time Delivery and Inventory turns targets while balancing freight costs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 4+ years of purchasing, production and planning experience within a manufacturing environment and the forward supply chain is required.

• Advanced Excel skills required (V-lookups, pivot tables, and formula entry) to support analysis.

• Experience using large ERP in production, purchasing, and planning activities is required. SAP ERP is preferred. APICS CPIM or CPM certification preferred but not required.

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for projects, etc.
