MSW or LSW Contractor Job at International School of Texas
The International School of Texas (IST) is seeking a highly qualified team player to join our small private school campuses in the mornings (8:30 - 11:30).
Social emotional support and relationship guidance to be provided to 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders 2-3 days a week on the middle school campus.
Social emotional support and development guidance to be provided for PreK through 4th graders on the primary years campus two days a week.
Counselor's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- working closely with teachers and administrators to support students' needs, as situations arise
- assisting with the implementation of behavior plans as needed
- meeting with students to support behavioral improvements
- meeting with students to support academic struggles
- coordinating collaborative communications with parents
- conducting interventions as situations arise
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are required while Austin is in Stage 5.
Experience:
- Social Work: 2 years (Preferred)
