A Mortgage company in Tucson, AZ is currently accepting resumes for Full-Time Loan Officer position. We are seeking a Bi-Lingual and highly motivated, trainable individual who has experience in refinance transactions. Most importantly we are looking for a licensed Loan Officer with a positive attitude, the ability to close, and a competitive work ethic.

We make the phones ring through direct mail and a large team of outbound dialers that will transfer a prequalified and interested person seeking a competitive refinance offer. The warm connection makes for an easy transition to application.

We will cover the cost of licensing, continuing education, and annual licensing renewals for our Loan Officers and encourage you to become licensed in multiple states. Village Capital & Investment is currently licensed in 46 states offering you leads and the ability to close loans in each state. We also generate leads from our 27,000 loan servicing portfolio.

Essential Duties:

• Communicate refinance benefits for VA & FHA Streamline and Cash-Out loans from inbound live transfers and inbound and outbound calls.
• Quickly build rapport and build trust and transition call to loan application.
• Consult with customers about their current and future goals and translate to refinance benefits.
• Provide excellent customer service from beginning to end.
• Ability to isolate and handle objections to encourage application.
• Efficiently walk applicants through the process and share the benefits of refinancing opportunities.
• Requires 30-50 outbound calls/texts/emails per day following pre-scripted communication.
• Ability to multi-task on phone and computer.
• Obtain initial borrower documentation per loan type.
• Communicate and conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.
• Work in a team environment

Job Requirements:

• Evidence of NMLS registration and Continuing Education Compliance.
• 1+ years phone-based inside sales or telemarketing experience.
• Knowledge of loan VA, FHA, USDA, and Conventional loan products and guidelines.
• Above-average desktop software literacy - the ability to use the latest collaboration tools - Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Encompass, and proprietary programs.
• Demonstrate effective time management and dependability
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Must have the ability to perform basic math and communicate effectively both written and verbal.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks – Criminal and Credit
• Must have professional conduct and business casual attire.

Compensation is Hourly + Volume Based Commissions + Great Benefits Package

Flexible work schedule between hours of 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
