How You'll Perform The Role

  • Molder Trainee will start and stop injection machines, robots and peripheral product handling equipment.
  • Clean, grease and check oil levels of machines and mold faces.
  • Cycle machines to maintain quality and efficiencies.
  • Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Check and fill color concentrates and set up and maintain color concentrates.
  • Molder Trainee will report any mold or machine deficiency (Maintenance Work Order System)
  • Assist Maintenance, Tool Room and Stacker departments.
  • Ensure proper reuse of rejects by completing all grinding by shift's ends.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
  • Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Plastics injection molding: 1 year (Required)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)
