Job Description


The Mold / Mould Repair Supervisor is accountable for supervising hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation, along with all related design and specification activities.

The Mold / Mould Repair Supervisor will:

  • Review bottle quality and mold equipment operating data
  • Analyze blueprints, job histories, and specifications to make recommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changes
  • Conducts periodic inspections
  • Manage department KPI’s
  • Ensure correct use of safety equipment and that safety policies are followed
  • Oversee Mold Maker apprenticeship programs

The Mold / Mould Repair Supervisor should have:

  • Experience supervising and training employees and managing cross-functional teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Be able to support job changes and improvement initiatives
  • Project management skills

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • Preference for bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Prior mold shop operation experience
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience desired
  • Working knowledge of SAP desired

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
