Modified Duty & Safety Clerk

The Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking a Modified Duty & Safety Clerk in Twin Falls, ID. This position provides administrative and technical assistance to the District Safety Manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Maintain all location safety files in line with Company policies and government regulations.

· Maintain all paperwork submitted for modified duty, safety programs. This will include, but not limited to, accident reports, doctors’ releases, and changes to employee’s safety file.

· Maintain all employee training and licensing documents.

· Direct inquiries from safety information to the appropriate person overseeing that particular area.

· Answer incoming phone calls as they pertain to safety and general related questions.

· Communicates orally and in writing. Read and understand oral and written policies, safety and environmental requirements, and other company policies.

· Maintains OSHA 300 log.

· Participate in weekend Safety calls as a resource to the factory.

· Participate in department meetings and special projects.

· Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High school degree or equivalent.

· 2 years’ experience in safety and manufacturing environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
