You will be fully trained to work in a variety settings such as homes, schools, daycares, and other community locations in order to support our clients in achieving their goals. You will work as part of a truly collaborative team along with the client’s parents/guardians, teachers, daycare staff, and other caregivers involved in the child’s life, while receiving support and guidance from the IBHS Individual Department Clinical Director.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians who provide services to clients and direct service implementation
  • Developing Individualized Treatment plans according to client’s targeted needs and behaviors of concern
  • Providing one-on-one therapy to clients, as well as conducting family sessions with the client and their primary caregivers
  • Being a collaborative treatment team member with the Behavioral Health Technicians and Behavior Consultants with a focus on delivering services to clients and their families

Qualifications
:

Graduate degree in psychology, social work, education or related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation

AND

Graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation; plus a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience with providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults

Or

An equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services

Or

Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with a least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation

Or

An equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services

The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency and a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults.   • LSW, LCSW, LPC, BSL, BCBA, PhD and PsyD also accepted

Must pass Safe Crisis Management Training (physical and theory), upon hire and then annually as a condition of employment. Other requirements include:

  • Driver’s License
  • FBI Act 73
  • Criminal History
  • Act 33 Clearances
