The Mobile Dental Clinic Coordinator position is designed to address the oral health needs of patients in rural Lane County. The Mobile Clinic Coordinator transports the unit and assists in its operation.

Responsibilities include:

• The Mobile Dental Clinic Coordinator manages the day to day operations of a mobile dental clinic
  This positions includes driving and supply procurement, sterile technician and administrative functions
• Supports dental providers who do direct dental work
• Maintain quality assurance standards and comply with applicable infection control, HIPAA and OSHA regulations
• Calls patients, sets up accounts, verifies insurance, schedules appointments
• Maintain accurate records for daily clinic operations and patient demographic data
• Maintain and ensure on board inventory of dental supplies, instruments, infection control and housekeeping
• Drive the mobile clinic van to clinic sites and assist in moving and transporting supplies
• Filling the van with fresh water and dumping the waste at dumpsites
• Maintain, troubleshoot and perform simple repairs to the mobile dental van and onboard dental equipment and supplies
• Perform or schedule maintenance and ensure maintenance schedules are being followed

Required Experience:

• Two years of experience in the driving or delivery field operating a heavy vehicle
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and a good driving record
