We use immersive, 3-D virtual environments to train in settings and situations virtually identical to the ones in which tasks are performed. Our solution is cost-effective for large-scale training and capable of multiplayer interaction in simulated environments. Solutions can be deployed to personal computers, tablets and phones, or accessed via web-based training portals through any internet-enabled device. Now training can be performed anytime, anywhere. JOB DETAILS:

Hatalom is seeking a Mid 3D Artist with process and supplement skills on projects involving software engineering, simulation engineering, and instructional system design development. This position typically works under general supervision. The successful candidate will be a member of team of junior / mid-level artist creating a game based virtual environment from existing CAD models, existing model files and conceptual. Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, other instructional systems designers, multimedia developers, 3D artists, systems/software engineers and stakeholders to develop and deliver courseware.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include the development of a wide range of 2D and 3D materials for real-time simulation and training applications.
• Define and support the production pipeline.
• Coordinate with a variety of engineers, artists, and project professionals to employ a wide range of skills and software tools in support of the visual and technical designs for various IMI Level training scenarios.
• Support the overall look of curriculum development to maintain a consistent brand across all training modules.
• This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
• Collaborates with SMEs and modelers to identify types and fidelity of 2D and 3D models
• Supports and responds to Quality Assurance during product testing
• Responds to and resolves customer issues in learning content
• Work within budgetary and schedule constraints to achieve assigned objectives

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Four-year college degree, in an animation related discipline, plus 5+ years related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience using 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, and PolyTrans.
• Strong understanding of and experience with 3D graphics development pipeline in a military virtual training game.
• Must possess strong animation and design sensibilities.
• Able to prioritize, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
• Must be able to take direction and critiques as well as work closely with various members of a course-ware development team.
• Proven ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Experience designing game-based learning for adult learners.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Capable of working in multi-discipline team environment.
• Capable of working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a United States citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years professional 3D Art experience
• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
• Photoshop and 3DStudioMax or Maya experience is required
• Unreal Engine (4.0) experience is highly desired.
• Proficiency with other 3D design applications (Affinity, Procreate, Clip Studio, etc)
• Strong understanding of vector and raster artwork and how they are best utilized
• Amazing Portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
• Knowledge of Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
• Strong analytical skills and excellent eye for detail
• Must be a United States citizen and MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A SECURITY CLEARANCE if necessary

• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects
• Proficiency with Harmony ToonBoom
• Proficiency with Spine
