As a Design Desk Microsoft Licensing Specialist, your primary responsibility is for the procurement and management of all Microsoft licensing for the organization. You will also be responsible for creating renewal and product orders for clients across all of our offices, tracking incoming shipments and keeping our team updated on delays, assist with shipping & receiving duties and inventory management at the local office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Client Service

  • Provide responsive client service. Answer internal and external client/vendor calls quickly and pleasantly. Communicate in a friendly, professional, and patient manner
  • Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term client/vendor relationships
  • Immediately address any customer concerns, notifying appropriate management of action taken to resolve
  • Maintain exceptional client service, understanding client satisfaction and perception
  • Strong attention to detail

Primary Required Functions

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Partner Center and Microsoft subscription licensing and products
  • Responsible for procurement or deprovisioning of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure subscriptions
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of Microsoft agreements in ConnectWise.
  • Responsible for updating end users licensing as directed or quoted
  • Ensure Microsoft orders are processed accurately, and all special instructions are followed
  • Research and prepare/edit quotes for products and services for clients. Interface with clients, Sales Team, vendors and/or Project Team to identify and recommend technology solutions and create accurate proposals for all products and services.

Additional Required Functions

  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and all special instructions are followed.
  • Communicate with prospects and clients via email, phone or in person, advising them on how company solutions can solve their technology issues. Research inquiries, draft recommendations, and communicate technology solutions to clients.
  • Maintain company quoting tool and all documents and resources to ensure the most effective sales process
  • Maintain vendor relationships, product knowledge and certifications necessary to deliver products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to accommodate changing needs and maintain most effective solution.
  • Create vendor deal registrations to improve margins on sales.
  • Assist Purchasing and Receiving Team as needed
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management

Communication

  • Communicate client issues to the Design Desk Director
  • Utilize active listening and client-care skills in identifying potential concerns
  • Report client concerns or complaints to Design Desk Director or CXO
  • Answer internal and external communications timely and professionally

Teamwork

  • Demonstrate and promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the Company
  • Continually look for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our clients effectively
  • Improve personal performance on a continual basis
  • Provide feedback to manager about ways to potentially improve processes

Tech-Savvy

  • Comfortable utilizing email, Microsoft Office applications, company phone system
  • Proficient utilizing ordering database
  • Ability to learn new technology products and services

Commitment Limitations

  • May not make a non-budgeted expenditure or commitment of the Company in excess of $500.00 without contacting Design Desk Director
  • May not enter into any contractual arrangements with a client

Confidentiality / Conduct

  • May not divulge proprietary information regarding client’s business
  • May not divulge any confidential personnel/corporate policy including discussion of performance reviews or salary
  • Do not discuss company prices or terms of sale unless with client in act of performing job

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, although not required
  • 2-3 years of experience with data entry or procurement
  • CompTIA A+ certification (may complete after being hired)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,177.18 - $74,589.71 per year
