The Barre VT BESS team includes commercial, engineering, and operational personnel. About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a National Sales Manager to join our team. This role will coordinate all sales activities related to energy storage systems and associated products. Responsiblities include managing a team of inside and outside sales, developing strategic partnerhips, creating strategy to grow the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of sales and business development managers to ensure regional and account coverage are achieved.
  • Generate sales leads, develops sales channels, and makes technical presentations.
  • Manage inside sales and collaborates with team-members to achieve timely and accurate information flow to the customers.
  • Monitor and implement cost-saving measures, as well as quality and process improvement activities.
  • Assure that profit-related goals are met.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance. rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Develop a business strategy to reach company's sales goals, guaranteeing expected profit.
  • Collaborate with marketing department to create market companies.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from a 4-year college or university or equivalent work experience.

  • Business acumen, MBA preferred.
  • Previous experience with energy storage application, or at least, with renewaxble energy is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant business and product experience. Previous experience with managing a highly-skilled sales or business development team.
