Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Behavioral Health Manager (LCSW/LPC) at Chippenham Hospitals Award Winning Tucker Pavilion you will be a member a team of social workers that provide direct care to patients at Virginia’s First and most Prestigious Behavioral Health Hospital. Our Team has been providing the cutting edge treatment to all levels of our Community’s Behavioral Health needs for over 100 years. We offer a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in our newly renovated units.

  • You will offer care continuum with a crisis team on site to inpatient/outpatient cases of all ages and partial hospitalization for adolescents and adults.
  • As a member of this team you provide crisis, individual, family and group therapy to enhance the patient’s and family’s problem solving and coping skills.
  • Our Social Workers serve as the primary coordinator of therapeutic offerings to include: yoga, 12 step support, NAMI peer support, spiritual, pet therapy, gym on site, and more.
  • As a member of our team you will provide initial and ongoing behavioral health assessments for patients and families having complex behavioral needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master of Social Work Degree from an accredited school of Social Work or Master Degree in Counseling or Psychology from an accredited school Required.
  • Current licensure as appropriate Licensed Counselor of Social Work (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required.
  • Experience in leading therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy Required.
  • Experience in development and executing clinical treatment plans with two years of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting Required.
  • Extensive knowledge and background using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy tools Preferred.
