MERCHANT PROCESSING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

As a Merchant Risk Analyst you will have the opportunity to drive the growth of the company, as well as identify and effectively review Underwriting, Risk and Compliance. You will work with various teams such as Sales, Operations, and Technology to gather requirements, execute the needs, and manage the merchants risk. The ideal candidate is, besides having strong attention to detail, someone highly motivated and a self-starter who is a team player with a positive attitude.

Essential Functions:

• Reviewing applications for account approval
• Developing mitigation strategies and reserves to mitigate risk
• Examining batch activity and transactional behavior for anomalies and exceptions
• Works closely with other departments and relationship managers to communicate identified risk concerns on accounts and facilitate resolutions.
• Updating policy and procedure documents when changes are approved
• Maintain/improve existing projects as needed/requested
• Adapt to changes within department as needed

Summary of Qualifications:

• Minimum three years' experience in Merchant Processing
• Strong proficiency with Excel
• Communicate effectively (written and verbally) with internal and external associates
• Excellent organizational, analytical skills and note taking skills
• Must be able to adhere to and meet given task deadlines
• Must maintain a high level of accuracy in performance in a high-speed environment
• Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently
• Able to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgement

Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
