Arizona Centers for Digestive Health is looking for a Medical Scheduler to join our growing team.

About the Opportunity

Working Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays, the Medical Scheduler will schedule appointments for our Gilbert office.

• Data entry of new patient information and updates
• Obtains authorization / referral information for office visits / procedures
• Appointment scheduling
• Verifying patient eligibility
• Working with PCPs and specialty care providers regarding referral and auth activities
• Maintaining open communication between support staff, providers, and ASC staff

About the Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, medical benefits, and the billing process
• Computer proficient to include using multiple screens / software programs, typing skills, and 10-key skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) or more years of experience scheduling medical procedures in an ASC or practice setting
• Experience with gastroenterology patients and procedures
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are helpful
