Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to build and maintain strong relationships with physicians who refer patients to Neurotech. Duties include “cold calling” on neurologists and staff, scheduling and conducting educational meetings and/or meals, representing Neurotech at medical conferences and meetings, providing continuing education to physicians and staff regarding Neurotech services and software/technology, and educating physicians and staff on the use of Neurotech’s physician portal and using Persyst Mobile. This responsibility is centered on meeting a physician’s need to provide exemplary, comprehensive care to his/her patients, including quality long-term EEG’s to diagnose or rule out seizures.

The Account Manager must not only obtain new physician accounts for Neurotech, but also maintain current accounts. Most importantly, the Account Manager must adhere to the highest ethical principles, maintain excellent communication with physicians, support staff and Neurotech staff, and adhere to Neurotech’s mission, vision and goals, as well as all internal policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prioritizes work schedules and timetables
  • Plans and implements an effective call plan (pre-call planning, territory management, etc.)
  • Prospects for new business/cold call by contacting territory neurologists and staff
  • Systematic development of strategies to approach potential customers and increase sales
  • Communicates change, distributes information and provides education to health care professionals
  • Prospects for cEEG service line-ICU and EMUs.
  • Demonstrates Persyst Moble software and serve as an “expert” in troubleshooting common problems
  • Organizes and executes sales presentations/meals and group events, and represents Neurotech at conferences for health care professionals
  • Develops and presents educational programs
  • Maintains detailed records of all contacts and meetings and creating reports (SalesForce, calendar, weekly activity reports, etc.)
  • Keeps current with seizure/epilepsy related clinical data, technology and treatment options, innovations related to neurology/epilepsy, and the competition's service offerings and activity
  • Provides after-sales service. (Persyst Moble questions, patient questions, etc.)
  • Identifies issues and opportunities for improvement focusing on patient quality and service, and physician interface

Territory: State of Washington - The person selected for this position must reside in the state of Washington.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution or at least 3 years of sales experience
  • Excellent driving record
  • Broad knowledge of marketing techniques and sales etiquette
  • Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but not required
  • Attention to the highest ethical standards, while maintaining a positive, optimistic outlook
  • Outstanding organization, written, and communication skills
  • Overnight travel required, frequency varies

Salary / Commission / Bonuses:

  • $70,000 salary plus eligible for quarterly and end of year bonuses.
  • Uncapped commission begins after approximately a month of training.
  • Bonuses for meeting performance goals
